Acceptance Letters for LPN

yes i got my letter. at orientation some people did not get letters even though they were mailed out. so CALL CALL CALL Hurry because the next orientation is this week the 26th at 4pm. HURRY!!!!

Thanks DJ Mommy! I did end up getting an acceptance letter a week of so after my original post and attended the first orientation session. I'm looking forward to classes! Glad you got in too and thanks for posting.

ok good. i was there too! i was in the back. i was the dinky one who asked about wearing a shirt un der the scrubs. lol:brnfrt: what section are you going for? im aiming for section 1 since it's right by my home. im so excited. since we're only doing class stuff on the first day of class what are we supossed to wear? i'm trying to drop more pounds and the uniforms are non returnable or exchangeable even if they are still in the package! so i don't want to buy the current size and then lose my money if /when i drop some pounds.

That was a good question. I heard you but didn't see you since I didn't turn around. I was in one of the middle rows on the right hand side....blond, older lady.

I bought a uniform top but didn't buy any pants yet. Next time I go I'll wear shorts that are thin and try the pants on over top of them. I'm not getting a lab jacket from the school because we can use a regular one from any store and that way I can still wear it after school finishes.

I know what you mean about losing weight and not wanting to buy them again. I was trying to lose weight too but it just didn't happen. I'm guessing that for class, not clinicals, we can just wear what we would usually wear to class since it's at the school. That's what I'm going to do unless I hear otherwise.

Well...I was going to sign up for section 1, but it filled up in about 5 minutes it seems like. I got into section 3 at Lucy Corr, which is okay because it's even a little closer to me than Beaufont.. just so I don't have to drive all the way to Hanover! I hope you got section 1, like you wanted.

:confused:i was looking online at uniform city (another lprn student got her stuff there) there have white skechers shoes on sale for 30 bucks but it has a silver 1/2 inch s on the side. im thinking this is a no-go for out class? i think im overthinking everything :uhoh3: i looked at the va tax site. it doesnt list medical stuff as tax free, but scrubs would be (if we could buy them outside of the school) lol im excited about school now that i have my job situation in control. :yeah: :monkeydance:

I don't know how strict they are about the all white shoe with white logo rule. If it's light silver it might not be noticible. If she says something, you could get another pair and probably use those for work when you get your license.

Glad to hear you got your job situation under control. I'm looking forward to school too. I enjoy it, for the most part.
