Accelerated Nursing Program- Goldfarb

Published

I have been accepted into the Fall 2018 accelerated BSN program at Goldfarb Barnes Jewish College of Nursing. I am feeling a bit nervous and worried about beginning the program due to my study skills and being a single mom to a 2-year-old. I know this is what I want for my daughter and I but I am feeling unmotivated about the whole idea of beginning believing the program will just be too hard. I am willing to work my hardest but studying and test-taking are my biggest downfalls. I will like to mention I was diagnosed with ADD.

Anyone headed into or already in an accelerated BSN program feeling defeated before it has even begun?

TonicLex I want to start off by saying congratulations! It's normal to feel a little nervous but after your first day, it will be ok. I am currently in a nursing program and I can relate to you. I have 5 children, work full-time and go to school at night for my bachelors. But it will all he worth it. Check out my youtube channel Diary of Nursing Student, I have an upcoming video that releases tonight on some study tips! Hope this is helpful, and keep me updated on your journey.

Hi there! My name is Brianna and I am also starting at Goldfarb but in the upper division nursing program in the fall 2018. I have 4 children ages 2-16 and a husband and home that I take care of. It's all about mindset and how much that you are willing to put into your studies. If you want this bad enough then you can do it! We can all be a support system for one another. It will be worth it girl!

So far, how is everything going guys? I'm looking into entering for summer 2019. :)
