Abrazo New grad vs Banner New Grad Program

Hi everyone,

Hi recently graduated not to long ago and passed my NCLEX last month. I was fortunate enough to have 2 separate offers for the Banner New grad and Abrazo New grad program.

Anyone have previous expereince from these programs. I would apperciate any feedback.

They have patient safety as a priority with state of the art equipment, charting system, once you are done orienting you can pick the days you want to work online (with exceptions of course). They offer medical/dental/vision and more. You can start your own 401K. They have discounts with local vendors. They offer state of the art medical care. They have respiratory therapy 24/7 for patients. CNAs for patients. Cafeteria open 24/7. Informatics specialists 24/7 you can call for help if you need it on charting. For new Grad RNS, nursing students, medical staff etc they have a Simulation Medical Center to safely practice patient care on simulation mannequins. That's right the SIM LAB is enormous the and replicated like a real mini hospital. They do not not eat their young new nurses. They also would hope that once you pick a career with Banner you stay with Banner the entire length of your career as a nurse. They have hospitals in 7 different states and growing. I find their alaris iv pumps are more efficient, barcode medication administration safe, cerner charting excellent, safe patient handling equipment excellent. Banner is a great place to work. You will not regret it. For any new grad RN wanting a job. Just apply to every job you want and dont stop applying until you find you are where you want. Never say "I cant apply because its too impossible" just keep knocking on those doors.
