I'm a little bit confused about the Bachelor degree's programs. I was searching through colleges that i would one day hope to get into a nursing program but what is the difference between
Four year Bsn
Second degree bsn
accelerated bsn
Rn-Bsn
I know a bacherlor program takes about 4 years to finish but why do programs offer different type of names for each program?

A second-degree program is intended for people who already have a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field who want to become RNs. Typically these second-degree programs are accelerated (take less than the four years of a traditional program) since they give students credit for pre-reqs and general education courses that they have already completed. There are a very few accelerated programs that are meant for traditional students (I see that you are in MA and one of these programs is at the Boston campus of Mass. College of Pharmacy... it grants a BSN in three years instead of four, because you go to school through the summer).
An RN-to-BS program is for students who have obtained their RN through an associate's degree program or a diploma program who want to further their education by earning a bachelors degree in nursing.
Hope this clears things up for you.

As I understand it, here's what those names mean:
Four year Bsn - a "traditional" college degree, you don't have any other bachelors degrees.
Second degree bsn - for students who already have a bachelors, but not in nursing
accelerated bsn - a faster version of the traditional college degree, takes less time but is more intense, may require a prior bachelors depending on the program.
Rn-Bsn - a bridge program for nurses who already have an associates degree in nursing and want a bachelors.
Hope this helps!
