A couple of quick questions about physicians office nursing

1) How involved does your office/you as nurses get in the medication precert process. have you found any techniques that help better than others?

2) Are you educating your patients to the process? What I mean by this is the marraige/contracts that the insurance companies have made that significantly influence what medications are prescribed/allowed by the insuance companies.

3) How do you prepare for chart audits by the insuarance companies. What are they looking for. What can I do to increase our complience.
