Hi everyone! I recieved a C- in A&P Lab I but I recieved a B- in A&P Lecture. What is an online course like? Pro's and Con's of taking it online? I simply refuse to take the same Teacher She was horrible! 98% of the class wrote letters to the college to say she needs to go. I like her personally but I HAVE NEVER seen a teacher so confused and scatterbrained in my life. anyways I am considering taking it online. I cannot take it with anyone else unless I drive an hour and a half away. Thanks so much

Happy summer!!!:bowingpur:redbeathe

I took both A&P 1 and 2 online. I loved it. I really like online classes because I do better reading a book and teaching myself. I don't do so well in lectures. So if you're not a good self-teacher, you might not do as well. It just depends on how you learn best. I got an A in both classes. At my school, we don't get grades in the lab portion. We either get a S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory). Any points we earned in our lab were just added into our grade for the actual class.

We had 2 Saturday labs for each class. They were 8 hour labs. I really liked it. We did several dissections of mostly cats. We took a trip to BYU and watched some cadaver dissections.

Well I must have gotten her sister than!!! because I have just went through AP I and I just know I will get a C due to lack of struture, arrogance- not giving straight answere when asked a question.. simple ones like, Is this going to be on the final??? Her response.. well I have not decided yet... OMG lady we have 4 days till the final and you dont know....material on the tests that were not discussed...Dont get me wrong AP is hard.. but if delievered well I believe its doable.. But geesh My class met 1 night a week for 4 hrs... Imagine getting 30min in a lab and a quiz the next week after only seeing it once!!! We started with 30 in the class and will be finishing with 9 ... I went as far as to transfer to a different school as she was the only one at my school that taught AP 2 I thought NO way I wont get into nursing school!! Best of Luck to you- I have already talked to my new AP 2 professor- and WOW just talking to him made me a little more confident!!

I know what you guys mean. Fortunately my A&P classes went well but I took a phlebotomy that I ended up with a B in. Which isn't a bad grade but the class was very difficult because there were so many things on the tests that we never discussed in class and wasn't in the book. It is very frusterating. I did really well in the clinical part which is what brought my grade up to a B. Otherwise, I would've been lucky to have a C.

It is frusterating when you're trying to learn and do well when the instructor isn't very good.
