A&P II please help i need some advice

Published

I am considering taking a&p ii next semester for spring2010 however i am a little bit hesitant about because the last time i took and a&p class was back in 2007 :sniff: i am not sure if i will do good because i can hardly remember most of it. I know is not advisable to retake the class but i have been trying to review online to refresh my memory. I was also considering taking microbiology along with other biology courses but i think that would be overloading.... advice anyone????

Take it in the spring as scheduled and use the 3 months between now and then to review diligently, preferably out of the book that you will use for A&P II. Personally, I'm not a big fan of "online" review... I find the online resources to useful adjuncts but not to serve as adequate replacements for the text.

Micro and A&P is a lot of work together but it's totally feasible. I did it (along with stats) and aced all three classes... It's all about time-management, organization, discipline, and dedication.

It depends on the school and how they teach the separate AP courses.

At my school, APII didn't return to many concepts learned in API.

Just remember that if you need to restudy some concepts, there are a lot of really good internet resources. Also, there are usually sources available through your textbook online.

Which book are you using?

Thanks for the advice it really encourages me:monkeydance: I am going to start reviewing from the book as well as from notes from some of my friends. Again Thanks!

This was the case at my college. In A&P II we rarely, if ever, touched on info from A&P I. I managed to take both courses at the same time at my university with no prob. one was completed unrelated to the other. I made an A in I and B in II...its all just memorizing for II.

I encourage you to take the 2nd one also...good luck

Thanx 4 ur response b/c i was worried about it since it has been a while... thank god im good at memorizing this way i know what to expect when i start! thxs ;) would you consider taking microbiology as well or do u think it will be pushing it too much.
