I am 38 years old and am very excited to start this journey. I will attend Austin CC this fall. To register for A&P I, I have to take an assessment. It's been 20 years since I've had a biology or chemistry class. None at the college level. I'm pretty good at teaching myself and I've found many things on Quizlet to help, also things on Khan Academy. I've also bought a regular book.My questions are - if anyone here has taken the assessment:
My advisor said it was 50, multiple choice questions. Can anyone verify?
How hard is it? Especially for someone like me with, well let's face it, minimal exposure to science. I really don't want to take a lower level course. I feel like time is already not on my side.
Anyone who has taken it, please help! How hard is the actual A&P class also?
I just took it and passed. It is 50 questions and multiple choice. With a limited background in biology, it would be very difficult to pass. I suggest looking at the ACC anatomy assessment prep. Watch the videos and do the questions below - it should help!
