Well, I wasnt aware of what specifically other poster was speaking of.  She used the term "historical inaccuracies".  Perhaps she was sugar coating it?

Now they trying to deny genocide in South Aftrica too? Probably because it debunks their whole grievance oppression Olympics.  Gross.

She, meaning me, was referring to his West Point speech. If you had listened to his speech, you would know which historical inaccuracies. Such as, World War II ending on May 8. That is a real slap in the face to veterans of the pacific theatre.

Biden forgot when his son died. Pretty bad slap in the face or dementia?.  Oh the dilemma ?

Can you please provide evidence of a coordinated, racially-motivated campaign of extermination against the white South African farmers?

If true I want them to find safety within our borders. But I need that evidence. Please link to it here.

Biden is no longer and will never again be president. Did you forget, or is that a sign of dementia?
Do you recall who is currently president?

Denying something which is literally not happening? This has been debunked by multiple sources.

What are "grievance oppression Olympics"?

A riff on the "reverse racism" schtick.

They pull it out any time white folks are not centered

Trump claims that there's a trade deal with China.  What deal?

Trade talks between the US and China are "a bit stalled", the US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said.

His comment comes less than three weeks after a temporary trade truce was agreed between the world's two largest economies, with both agreeing to reduce tit-for-tat tariffs.

Bessent told Fox News on Thursday: "I think that given the magnitude of the talks, given the complexity, that this is going to require [leaders of both the countries] to weigh in with each other".

The Trump tariff "truce" is what earned Trump the descriptor TACO.

The Trump economy is filled with uncertainty, chaos and risk.  He's making money though.

Thursday's weekly jobless claims and economic growth data did little to placate worries of an economic downturn. The focus will be on the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation data - the personal consumption expenditure report - later on Friday.

Much of the month was also dominated by worries about fiscal debt levels in developed economies, highlighted by weak appetite for freshly issued longer-dated credit in the U.S. and in Japan.

On Friday, the euro was slightly firmer at $1.1378, while the Swiss franc was also stronger at 0.8216 per dollar.

The U.S. currency was set for monthly declines against the Swiss franc, the euro as well as the pound.

The dollar index, which tracks the U.S. unit against a basket of six other currencies, was muted on the day. The index was set for a decline of 0.4% in May, on course for its fifth month in the red.

Trump just elevated another person of questionable character.  Paul Ingrassia is now the new head of the Office of Special Counsel.

In 2023, Ingrassia repeatedly praised the controversial "manosphere" influencer Andrew Tate and worked on his legal team. Romanian authorities have accused Tate of human trafficking. Florida's attorney general also opened an investigation into Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate. The two men deny all wrongdoing.

The top of Ingrassia's Instagram page features a pinned photo of himself with Andrew Tate, who describes himself as a "misogynist."

"The Tate brothers provide an opportunity for a better future - one that inspires, rather than degrades, men," reads Ingrassia's caption.

Apparently, like others in Trump's orbit, he maintains some questionable relationships.

Ingrassia was also seen at a June 2024 rally in Detroit led by Nick Fuentes, a Holocaust denier and white nationalist.

Quote

Livestream footage shows Ingrassia approaching Fuentes, smiling before he spoke as Fuentes' supporters chanted, "We want Nick!"

On social media, Ingrassia has written that "dissident voices" like Fuentes belong in conservative politics. He wrote a Substack post titled "Free Nick Fuentes," criticizing the platform X for banning Fuentes over hate speech. Fuentes' X account was later reinstated.

Quote

Ingrassia also supported the Patriot Freedom Project, which advocates for people charged in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

"The tragedy of Jan. 6, 2021, was not that it was an attack on our democracy, let alone an insurrection," Ingrassia said at a Patriot Freedom Project fundraiser in January 2024. "But rather, it was an opportunity for the deep state to finally remove its mask and begin prosecuting and jailing innocent American citizens like Tim, like so many of the people here today."

It all makes sense.  Sorta.

Trump commuted the sentence of another killer.  I wonder if Trump or his circle of sychophants thought that commutation would apply to the 200 year sentence in his state conviction?

Trump's judgment is certainly interesting.

He will still be imprisoned in the state system.  To me it was an odd choice and in digging deeper this man was lobbied by MAGA  Ye (aka Kayne West).  Given the zero chance that the state will issue a pardon it seems to be a token pardon for whatever reason.

I did link the other pardons in the article and a good deal were for violations of the FACE act, which I had to look up and it's was enacted to help with violence at abortion clinics in the 90s.

In March several were pardoned for violating the Bank Secrecy Act which I had to look up as well which has to do with money laundering.

Most all of them seem to be non-violent crimes, drug charges etc.

The odd choice was the point of my post. Trump has terrible and corrupt judgment.

Hmmmm ... how much are pardons going for these days?

Just askin'
