How to become a CNA in Washington state

U.S.A. Washington

Published

Hi I am looking into becoming a CNA in western Wa and was wondering if anyone knew any info on where you could go to school, cost, and how long it would take to become certified. Any info would be great

~thanks!!!

They did offer CNA classes at a couple of LTC facilities I know of in Eastern Washington. That was a few years back so I'm not sure if they still do. The classes were posted in the classifieds in our local newspaper with all of the other jobs in healthcare. I hope you find what you need!

Specializes in NAR, soon to be NAC.

I graduated from Nursing Assistant Training Institute in Shoreline today.

I recommend them highly.

Congratulations! I start there in July.

I think you will enjoy it. I learned a lot and grew up a lot as well.

only a little bit though ;)

I was wondering if any of you knew about where I could shadow a CNA so I can see if it's something I really want to do.... Thank you ;)
