I RECENTLY APPLIED AT NSU.........WAITING FOR A RESPONSE :heartbeat :redbeathe:heartbeat IT IS SIMPLY NERVE WRECKING ..........I HAVE MY HEART SET ON NSU, I CURRENTLY RESIDE IN JAPAN BUT WILL BE SOON MOVING TO THE US :yeah:........ I JUST WANT TO GET IN AND PROVE MYSELF

Are you military? I was stationed in Korea and it was lame! I have always wanted to go to Japan.

Good luck with your application, keep us posted. I am going out of my mind waiting to apply and get in. I am so glad school starts back up tomorrow, this break has been too long! School really keeps my mind off things.

I AM A MILITARY SPOUSE MY HUBBY IS IN THE NAVY......JAPAN IS OKAY, I AM READY TO GET BACK TO THE US.........SCHOOL STARTED FOR ME ON 1-6-09 I AM TAKING SOME COURSE ONLINE FOR MIAMI-DADE COLLEGE, WHICH MY HOME TOWN ......I DECIDED TO DO THAT TO GET INSTATE TUITION........I JUST WANT TO GET IN THE PROGRAM I HEAR THAT IT IS VERY CHALLEGING TO GET IN NSU TO I KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED AND PRAY ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME BECAUSE I WILL NOT ONLY NEED PRAYERS TO GET IN BUT TO HELP ME THROUGH THE PROGRAM AS WELL I HAVE 3 KIDS AND BEING A MOM AND WIFE CAN TAKE A TOLL ON ME SOMETIMES SO I JUST HOPE THIS PROCESS HAS VERY MINIMAL BUMPS IF ANY AT ALL.......:typing KIT......

Are you planning on putting your kids into day care so that you can focus on school? If not I would highly recommend it.

I was in the Air Force for 4 years and I met my husband while stationed at Kunsan. Since then I have gotten out and been slowly working on prereqs while he finished off his final year at Tinker AFB (Oklahoma) and then we moved here, where my mom is, so that he could get a job utilizing his top secret clearance and I could go to school. I don't work and haven't since I got out. We will have lived with my mom for a year as of February 23rd but will be moving out late March early April. We have had to pay out-of-state tuition which I think is total BS considering I am a veteran and he is former AD now reservist. Trust me, there will be many bumps in the road. You just gotta keep your head up and keep praying.

Who knew going to school was such a rough road?!

WELL THANKS FOR ALL THE ADVISE MY KIDS ARE OLDER I HAVE A 13 Y/O 8 Y/O AND 3Y/O AND BY THE TIME WE MOVE EVERYONE WILL BE A YEAR OLDER..........I AM PRETTY SURE THERE WILL BE SOME SPEED BUMPS, BUT NOTHING CAN BE MORE OF A SPEED BUMP THAN GETTING MARRIED, MOVING TO A DIFFERENT STATE AND HAVING A CHILD ALL WITHIN A 2 YEAR TIME SPAN.......THIS TIME I AM GOING TO TRY MY BEST TO AVOID :nono: ANY BUMPS ALTHOUGH THEY MAY COME MY WAY I WILL TAKE MY TIME AND GO SLOW AND MAKE IT OVER SMOOTHLY .............YOU FEEL ME....

BUT NOTHING CAN BE MORE OF A SPEED BUMP THAN GETTING MARRIED, MOVING TO A DIFFERENT STATE AND HAVING A CHILD ALL WITHIN A 2 YEAR TIME SPAN

Are you talking about you or me, or yourself?! Cause that is my same exact past 2 years. Moved once, got out of the military, started school, got married, had a baby, moved again, switched schools. All within 2 years. HAHA. And I survived it all, with straight A's! I can't wait to start nursing school.
