I didn't realize that I was supposed to sign my BLS card until after I laminated it. Does anybody know if it is a problem to have an unsigned card? I can easily order a new for for $10 but I would like to avoid that expense if it is not necessary.

I don't know if it's a problem, sorry.

But perhaps take a fine point Sharpie or other permanent marker and sign it anyway? You have nothing to lose IMO.

I would just sign it with sharpie. You will have a copy of your BLS card in your clinical portfolio not the original document anyway. Hope that helps :wink2:

(Last year we were asked to include only copies because if you lose your portfolio you can replace it with a new one.)
