Vacation and school...what would you do?

Hi All!

So, I'm seeking some advice. I will be away from October 18th-October 29th on vacation in Europe. These dates will coincide with the end of week 4 of health assessment and all of week 5, as well as week 1 of art appreciation/history...can't remember but it's the art elective.

Is this doable? My plan, based on the threads, would be to get ahead in assessment as its the only class I'm taking at that time and completely finish everything before I leave.

As for art, I'm unsure what the week 1 assignment will be and I haven't checked for a syllabus yet. I'm thinking I can, at the very least, e-mail the professor if the syllabus isn't online to get an idea of what the first assignments are and maybe start those early as well, and maybe spend an hour before bed a few nights working on it? Does this sound realistic?

I would just really hate to put off a class because I won't be around for a week of it, ya know? It could set me back quite a bit in the program.

Thanks!

Thanks, everyone. You all provided some really great things to think about.

For me, I think I've decided to continue with school and contact the school regarding art. I will bring a laptop and my own mobile hotspot. I will get ahead in assessment and put together my final assignment before I go, but wait until I receive my week 4 assignment back before I submit so that I can make corrections quickly before submitting but so the work will largely be done. From there, we have a couple 6 hour train trips as we transfer from France to Switzerland and Italy that I will use to do work.

So, all-in-all, I'm going to make it work because I don't want to get set months behind for a 12-day vacation. Thanks all!
