I dont own much. I rent an apartment. Do you finish your lease at your apartment and then travel? Or have any of yall who are stuck in a lease, just keep most of your stuff in that apartment when you travel and just keep paying your rent on your vacant apartment?

I have an apartment and have been a traveler for 3 years. Is this the first time you have traveled? Most assignments are 4-13 weeks long then end. At the end of your assignment your housing also ends because it is leased through your agency. If you choose to go from one assignment directly to another, you will have to coordinate ending and starting dates. I have chosen to keep my apartment for a place to rest in between assignments. I hope this helps!!!

I keep most of my stuff at friends/relatives houses when I travel .When I go home to Sherman, Tx I just stay with my friends or parents , but I am seldom home for more than 3 weeks . My goal is to save enough to pay off half a house , so I don't want alot of monthly bills . I guess it depends what your long term plans are , how much you plan on travelling , and what other options are available for storing your stuff
