South Carolina Nursing

by IRN

A friend and I are looking to live in Aiken, SC for a few months (Jan/Feb-March/April) and we are trying to locate local agencies that might offer jobs in the surrounding areas. Does anyone have any names of local nursing agencies or know of any national companies that have jobs within an hour or so from Aiken? We are also looking into Augusta, Ga for jobs.

Or does anyone have any idea of where to find info on local agencies? I looked online and I called the SC and GA Board of Nursing without luck.

She is an ER nurse, and I work in Med/Surg.

Any assistance/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if more info is needed.

Thanks.

I am currently on assignment in Orangeburg, SC. I know that my company has listings in Columbia and I believe Charleston. I'm not sure how close that is to Aiken, SC. SC is a compact state, so depending on where you have your current license it may not be too difficult. Georgia will have to be by endorsement. Have you tried going on line.
If you want my companies infor. PM.
Good Luck

We are from Maryland, and I have already started on the Georgia Endorsement process.
I do not have the ability to pm other posters yet-my understanding is that you need to have 15 posts (and I am only on 8).
Can you pm that info to me?
Thank you very much!!!
