Need Input on Good Travel positions in San Diego

by nyck76

Well I am going to be going back to San Diego in November and I would like input on some good facilities. I worked at Scripps Mercy last time and I was very unimpressed. I did float to Scripps Green in LaJolla and that was really nice, but I would like more options. Thanks!

Hello....I am currently on assignment in SD and have been here for 1 yr exactly. I first worked at UCSD THornton hospital in La Jolla and had my contract cancelled (the management left a lot to be desired, but it's since changed); its a very beautiful hospital and the pt's have a tendency to think they're at the 4 Seasons instead of a hospital....I then worked at Pomerado/Palomar hosp in Poway and Escondido, and they both weren't bad...the dr's at Pom didn't really treat the nurses too respectfully tho....Palomar is a much bigger hosp and had overall better experiences there. I'm now finishing up at Scripps Green in La Jolla and it's been a good experience. I've had friends work at both Sharp Memorial and UCSD Hillcrest that've absolutely loved it. Hope this info helps!! Good luck and have fun!!
