Has anyone traveled to Sonora, CA?

Updated Jun 22, 2004 at 05:23 PM by nike78910

Hi,

I am about to use American Traveler and sign on with a hospital in Sonora, CA. Has anyone had any experiences with Sonora, good or bad??? And with the hospital there?

Thank you in advance!
Ang

CeCiRN,

Thanks for the good information, it is good to know it is a nice area and not so scary.
Did you work in a hospital there as a traveler? Or were you vacationing?

We went to an anniversary party for some friends and had a blast there. I wasn't a nurse at the time and we lived in a smaller town in norhtern CA It is a very lovely area and we had considered moving there when my husband was employed in the lumber industry. Who knows? Now that I'm an RN and if we ever move back to CA we may just think about Sonora. It's been about 18 yrs so I'm sure it's changed but I do remember it being a lovely place.
