just wondering if anyone has done any traveling to exeter new hampshire and if so, how was it..i have a friend thinking about it and she wants to know what to expect...thanks

Hey! I work at Exeter Hospital, I'm a Unit Coordinator who has floated to every unit except the ER.....your friend can PM me if s/he wants.....overall a GREAT work environment, this is a hospital where people are very friendly and I've been there for four years now.....

I grew up in the area as well :D .

And I'm currently a traveler working in the ER! So I guess between Andre and I we've got the whole place covered. This is actually my 3rd stint as a traveler here.....nice place, lovely community and surrounding area. The hospital is well supported by the rather affluent community, so it's a pretty nice place. I took a woman up to OB tonight ( we don't do those delivery kinda things in the ER!) who made me stop on the way for a contraction, got out of the wheelchair, threw her arms around me and asked me to rub her back!!!! But I digress. The 'family center' is beautiful, if that's where she's considering working. If it's the ER let me know, I can give her lots of info. I'd say tell her to go for it.

I currently work at Exeter Hospital. I love it. Started as a new grad (after a bad experience somewhere else) and have had tons of support. I'm in my second year now and still love it. Only drawback is the pay - but if you're traveling you don't have to worry about that! My floor is very traveler friendly, can't speak for the other units.
