Best states for traveling???

Hi travelers,

I'm getting my ducks in a row to travel this spring. I have licenses in my home states of PA & NY. Also have a new Colorado license & applications for endorsement out to California & North Carolina. I feel like I should have another state or two under my belt before I take off....

Question is, what states are the reliable hot-spots for travel nursing?

Thanks!

From my experience Florida is not a good travel state. I did 10 years of travel nursing, mostly in florida. All of the assignments were the same format. You get the worst patients, families, and ratios. You are floated to units that you have no experience and expect to perform at optimal level. Please do a ton of research on any hospital you plan to work. Dont be quick to believe what travel recruiters and nurse managers tell you.
