Hey guys! my husband and I are thinking of travel nursing and we are researching companies. Had anyone had any experience with NursesRx?Good or bad? Would you recommend them to another nurse? Thanks for any advice!

No, I would not. I almost went with them, but their positions seem to pay less and they don't supply fully furnished apartments; you have to drag your own dishes, pots and pans, and linens everywhere. They are also part of the Evil Empire.
anyone you would recommend?

It depends on where you want to travel to. On Assignment, Critical Nurse Staffing, and Nursefinders. All have websites, try a google search. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I've worked for NursesRX and would stay away from them. The support is minimal and the wages are some of the lowest in the industry. I've had a great experience with Access Nurses (starting my 3rd assignment with them soon). If California is a possibility for you, try Emerald...I've worked with a couple of nurses that have had good experience with them and the pay is very good.
I second nightingale's opinion re: On Assignment. I'm on my first assignment with them, having been recommended to them by several nurses on my last assignment which was with another company. I'm exploring a change of location and gave my recruiter a list of cities I'd like. She e-mailed back immediately with positions in one and said she would look at the others to see what needs they had for when I want to be there. They've been really good about the hassles I've had with my apartment, and they do furnish everything except internet access. I'd definitely recommend them.

Absolutely, I did traveling nursing for 5 years and flew to every assignment, recieved a rental car and fully furnished apartment (including linens, pots, ect) for every one. I don't know anything about NursesRX but I can say that I have never work for any company that expected me to bring my own things. It's one thing if you drive to your assignment, but what abou those who fly?
Few companies that I recommend....On Assignment, Fastaff, World Health,Travel Nurse Solutions
Good Luck!
