Hey did yall see where they extended the deadline until the 20th?? My guess is they did that to accommodate the # of HESI test dates that were added. But I wish they would of kept the deadline the 3rd as planned. I wonder if that will affect when we will get our emails?

How is everyone coming along? The deadline has passed and now it's just a waiting game.. Is anyone nervous as I? Anyone married or have kids? How is everyone enjoying their summer before the storm? I just need to hear from someone in my same situation (waiting for a email that will determine how my life will be for the next 2 years) before I drive myself nuts lol!

If someone that is already in the program or graduated from the ADN program reading this please let us know something that you wish someone would have told you before starting? God bless..

Hello! :)

I'm doing good! I applied to UTMB and TWU for the fall for the BSN as well as San Jac for the ADN as a back up plan.

I got denied to TWU and I've been waitlisted for UTMB. I called earlier this week to inquire about my place on their waiting list and the lady said there was no offical ranked list, but she knew I was at the top and I "should" hear something. We shall see!

I regards to San Jac, I feel pretty good about getting accepted there. I had a 26 on my application rubric when I did my calculations. I got my associates from San Jac and I've always loved going there.

I'm off from school for the summer and basically just banking my money from work. I'm single with no kids so its just me lol

Good luck!!

Sorry to hear about TWU but I know you'll get in somewhere especially with a rubric score of 26 with San Jac. I believe I have a 19 but I need to double check because I'm not sure of my overall GPA. I'm a bit nervous because San Jac is the only school I applied for. I know it was stupid to put all my eggs in one basket but I'm trying to have faith and stay positive about it.

I'm off for the summer also. I ran out of pre reqs to take but it feels so good to just relax and enjoy my daughter for the summer. No kids no boyfriend/husband? Lucky!!! Focus on your studies and enjoying solitude because its much harder when you have a full family to take care! I wouldn't trade them for anything though

I work up at st. Lukes as a nurse assistant in the icu. I love it but I wish schools would look higher on the experience.. oh well.

I'm done with pre-reqs but I am taking a couple of summer classes to raise my GPA. I am not counting on getting accepted because my rubric score wasn't as competitive as I would like it to be. So I am preparing to reapply for the Spring. If I don't get accepted I'm going to keep taking classes to get my associates degree and keep applying. I don't plan on giving up!

Me and my husband have 2 kids - 4 yrs and 9 months. its hard with two kids, especially my baby boy. my daughter is old enough to understand that I need time to study and do homework but all my son wants to do is eat my homework lol!

If its hard with one I can't imagine 2 or more lol. My 4 year old is so needy right now. I need to know at what age do they stop whining and also learn how to wash dishes!

Yes don't give up! Keep on pushing! I'm worried about that also. I don't think my rubric score is competitive as it should be. Especially since they extended the deadline. I'm sure everyone who were denied at other programs applied at San Jac. All we can do is keep faith! Goodluck!
