Hi everyone. I have applied to nursing transition program at Montgomery and Tomball to start in the summer 2013; the deadline was March 7. I also plan to apply to the Kingwood campus where the application period closes in May. I have not found any threads for hopeful applicants to the summer transition program 2013 so I am creating a forum for us discuss receipt of acceptance/alternate letters, orientation and whatever else we can conjure up. I applied with a 10.4. I know its low, but no venture no success. So are there any others waiting to hear back?

I also have her for clinicals at Conroe Regional and she was my VN instructor and she is. I was wondering why we didn't get information on uniforms.

I got Conroe Regional as a clinical site this first semester. My clin instructor expressed that she's big on pt care. So I'm looking forward to this semester.

Who did you get??? We don't get our assignments until Monday. I can't wait to find out! I'll either be at Conroe or MH

Well for June and 1st weel of July it is L.V that's her intials. When did they tell you guys about uniforms we received no information about that and we have clinical the second day of school.

They told us the uniform consists of white tops and teal bottoms. If you go to Scrubs store near the campus they have them.

I must have step out when they went over that and also the scrub store will have the patches or is that something you purchase from the school store. That must have discussed very briefly right before they went over books.

Very briefly. They didn't mention where to get the patch unless I missed it.

And you can get patches at the book store for a quarter.

I am trying to find out so info because I need to plan ahead because we are starting in June and my kids will be geting out of school in June I have made plans for that month. But do you are anyone know if there will be a gap after our first 6 weeks ending on July 11th. So my question is will we be out untill August because I know we are suppose to merge with the second year class. And when do you guys go back? What day? I need to plan the summer for my kids.

Can anyone give me some insight on what the scores were that they were taking for The Woodlands/Tomball/North Harris for the Transition program? I am looking to apply soon and would like to see where I stand. I would appreciate it so much!!

Also, now that some of you have been in the program for a couple of semesters, please pass on any thoughts/suggestions you have for us Hopefuls coming up behind you. :)
