HESI A2 only for adn??

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hi, so I'm trying to get into UTA's nursing program. HESI scores are due January 1st. Currently, I am at north lake college. They have a HESI A2 exam at the south campus but it says on the website that it's for the ADN program. I want to get into the BSN program so I'm not sure of what to do! I'm assuming that I shouldn't take that exam but I have no idea where to take the exam. I've been looking everywhere and I'm just not sure.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

Just confirm with UTA that you can take the HESI at another school. (This info should be on their nursing program info site) most schools allow you to take the HESI anywhere, it's a universal test through a third party and usually the only thing that varies among nursing programs is how long HESI scores are good for.

Good luck!!
