Hello all,

I want to know if any of all have or will be applying to the lvn nursing program at San Jac south or north campus?? I will probably apply next week. I am just waiting to get my transcript updated. Im very nervous and I think I might not get in.. Please help!! What do they base their selection on?? Im just a nervous wreck..:confused::confused:

Please Help!!

Thanks! Another question I'm not sure if you can answer yet but do you have to dissect anything in the AP for Allied Health??? I'm debating taking the regular AP1 and 2 or just the AP for Allied Health. The counselor said I could take the VNSG AP as long as I passed my Math class which I did with a 98.:yeah:

Thanks agian! :D

The classes are between the hours of 730-600 that is including the lab, i'm not for sure if it actually last that long, clinical is from 630-300.

Thanks and I was afraid of that. I enrolled into the AP for Allied health though. I'll probably be the only person who is not in the program already. Does anyone know if you dissect anything in that AP class?

i am also in A&P, mines didn't transfer from lone star college. I have it on monday and tuesday @ 930-1145

Well that's nice to know and yep I am in the same exact class :D.

Do you know when the lab times will be available?

No, you do not disect anything in the VNSG A & P class. 99% of the time, the classes really do last the entire time. It is a lot of information that has to be covered. Hope that helps answer some questions.

Can I ask who your teacher is? You can send me a private message if you don't want to post on here. I suggest you read the chapters and play attention to boxes and charts. Good Luck on Wednesday!!! :)

The test wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I still haven't got my grade back yet. If you have anymore advice or study tips its much appreciated :)

Does anyone know what your grade has to be on the HESI to get into the nursing program. I got an 88

I got a 96 on my exam today!!! SO excited. When I looked at the average of the grades for the other students it said 87 so I'm thinking anything higher than that is good. :)
