I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have been accepted and are attending NH in July! I am soooo excited to get started! I will be attending the May 15th orientation. Let's all help and encourage each other as we start this crazy journey!

Just joined the Facebook group! Can't wait to get know/meet everyone!

I'm also a nursing 3 student at NH. The best advice I can give you all is to buy a good (make that a very good) NCLEX text with lots of practice questions and rationales to use during the program. Before each unit exam, read and understand the contents to be covered and practice nclex style questions. Read the rationales to know why or why not the answer is correct.

Thanks for the advice @greeneth!

Do you have a good NCLEX book that you recommend?

I use Saunders. Amazon.com: Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN® Examination, 6e (Saunders Comprehensive Review for Nclex-Rn) (9781455727551): Linda Anne Silvestri PhD RN: Books

PS: there's no difference between the 5th and 6th edition. You can also register your textbooks online at Elsevier or publisher's websites and practice the questions by chapter/unit.

Anything else we may find useful?

Anything about the program, classes or professors that would be good to know.

Anything helps!

Any tips on what to start working on before the program starts?

Thanks Amberlyn for letting me know about this thread! ? congrats to everyone who's beginning this new journey with me! Is anyone taking the RNSG 1105 program next week? If you are could you let me know what to expect? I'm taking mines the second week..

Hello Class,

I just graduated from NH nursing, c/o '14. Whew. I have tons of NCLEX books and other study materials that I found to be helpful throughout my tenure. I also have some white nursing shoes (8), tons of scrubs (white top, teal bottoms), patches, graduation cap & gown and pinning dress and cap. You will need all of these things if you don't have them!! Especially the books! These are not the required books but some that will guide your studying. If interested, please let me know. They helped me to graduate with honors for all four semesters!!

All of the professors are very helpful. Don't be afraid of constructive criticism. Remember, they only want to put safe and competent nurses out there. If you need books to study, let me know. I have plenty. I graduated from NH in May.

I'm interested in anything your willing to give! What books do you have?

I have saunders nclex, mosby's nclex, incredibly easy nclex, a good maternity book, and the hurst review which will be great for now and taking the nclex. All of these books offer great material.

How much are you offering for these books, and are they written in?
