ACC Spring '15 Hopefuls

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hi y'all!

I know it's early but I searched for a spring 15 thread and nothing came up, so...

I'm sitting for the HESI in 11 days, and applying in July for the Spring '15 program. This is my first application to the program. It looks like at the end of the year the program will be changing again, and applicants will apply a year in advance! I really don't expect to get in the first time, but stranger things have happened and it never hurts to hope!

Anyone else out there? I'd sure like to try to calm some of the nervousness!

Debbie

Anyone else applying for ACC's program for spring of '15?

Hey! I just applied for my first time too.

I will be applying again during the next application round. I've done my calculations and I don't believe that I will get in until my third time unfortunately. But I am retaking two classes right now that I have C's in so that I can hopefully make As and get in sooner.

Have you heard anything back about your current application?

I applied for Spring '15, and I just registered for the Nursing Skills class. Did y'all receive petitions to register? I'm anxiously waiting to get my ranking. Friday can't come soon enough!

I can't wait to get my ranking letter this week, and acceptance letters will come in October, which seems like forever. I don't think I'll get in, but I did get permission to register for my RNSG 1105, and I started Aug 25th. So, hopefully that's a good sign.

I applied for Spring '15, but this is my first cycle, and I know I won't get in. Still have a couple of co-reqs to finish, so I only have 48 points. Anyone know how many points it takes to get in on average? Or whether our fall courses will count towards the next cycle, now that the application dates are so much earlier in the year?

I've read through this board's comments for previous terms, and it looks like people aren't getting in until they're around 58+ points. I'm sitting on 51.7, so i can't imagine getting in this round, either.

Normally, classes in progress do not count, but they will count this one application cycle, due to the super-early deadline.

Has anyone gotten a letter yet?

Ugh... the waiting is killing me. I feel relatively sure that I've gotten in for the Spring, but I sure would like to see the official notification. I feel like I've been working towards this for so long.

Me too! Anyone feel like sharing their ranking points? I have a 59, third time around. I took nursing skills over the summer and hope/feel like this is the one. Tired of waiting! :bored:
