??~License by Endorsement

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I graduated and took my original state boards in OH in 1967. I immediately moved to TX and had my license by endorsement here until 1970 when I moved back to OH and resumed working there. I moved to NC in the early 80's and got my license endorsed to there. I moved from NC in CA in 1998 and transferred my license to CA. I am now returning to TX.

Can I submit the NCSBN Nursys form and pay the $30 for them to verify my OH, previous TX and NC registration? (these states are listed on their site) My license in these states is no longer active (only CA is active) but would NCSBN Nursys be able to verify that I WAS registered in these states for my application to TX?

I guess I'm just not sure if NCSBN Nursys only verifies CURRENT licenses or also former licenses. I'd hate to sent $30 for nothing as this is going to be expensive enough as it is. My ORIGINAL renewal fee for TX was $2.00 HA! HA! How times have changed. HA! HA!

Do I still have to contact each state BON to verify my previous license??? DANG!!! When I moved to CA from NC all I had to do was tell them where I HAD been licensed and have my license "transferred" from NC to CA (by endorsement). I didn't have to contact EACH state I was ever licensed in. What is with TX!?!?!

THANK YOU in advance for any help you can give.
