my name is professor eric l. richardson, and i am a faculty member with king college's school of business in bristol, tn. i am performing a research study titled "the quantitative examination of the relationship of perceived pay equity and organizational commitment among registered nurses in the state of tennessee."

i would like to invite you to participate in this research study. this is a great opportunity to raise awareness of pay equity and commitment issues in tennessee and contribute to nursing research!

what is the research about?

the purpose of this study is to examine adams' equity theory between baccalaureate rns (bsn) and masters level rns (msn/mba/msm or msc) and their related views on salary compression as it relates to organizational commitment.

what does participation in this research study involve?

if you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete the following electronic survey. your participation should take about 15-20 minutes. the survey will be delivered via surveymonkey.com.

completed surveys will be accepted until the march 25, 2011 deadline.
