Does anyone have any information on this hospital? I spoke with a recruiter at a job fair today (limited time with her, all I got was an information packet, I didn't get to ask many questions), and I was wondering about this hospital. Any positives or negatives heard would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :)

I started this thread a year ago. I left there in January, I wasn't happy at all and simply had to get out before I questioned nursing altogether. I think it was just my floor though, as when I floated to other floors, they didn't seem to have the same problems. I actually enjoyed my time on other floors, but my manager was in no way accomodating to me transferring elsewhere. I will say, that before I even left I know they were cutting certain jobs within the hospital, cutting benefits, and had a freeze on hiring. All of that due to the economy. I don't know the situation now as I have been gone nearly 3 months.

Do you mind me asking what type of floor you were on? Also, what was it that you didn't like? The floor, the patients, the management, the hours, etc.

The hospital was actually very nice, and I enjoyed my time there. I suppose with every hospital there are issues and I just didn't enjoy my floor. I won't say where I worked, because I don't want my opinion to sway anyone else. :) I'd definitely recommend the hospital, and if you like where you interview and the feel of it, I say go for it.

Moving on was better for me though. :)
