Hello! I have applied to CU and been accepted, but I am waiting to send my info to the Rudy school of nursing. I heard that as long as you passed most of the kaplan that you could still be accepted? I know a few people who did not pass the science part and with their 3.2 gpa got in. I wonder if that is true or not? Does anyone know?

Did you ever find anything out about this? I know when I went and took my kaplan test the lady told us to still send in your application even if you didn't meet the gpa requirement and if you didnt past the kaplan. I'm just curious if anyone has been accepted that hasn't past the kaplan?

I have not found out anything on it yet. They told me what they told you :(

Have you applied to the school already?

I know of a few people who have been accepted that failed the science part of the Kaplan.

Yes iv applied for the fall but I have failed the math part on the kaplan. So I was curious as to what my chance are of getting in. I guess I'll have to be suck it up and wait. Have u applied for the nursing program? I was wondering when will they send the letters out. Do you know?

I failed the science part by one question both times I took it :( I hope our chances are good getting in. Yes, I applied for Fall also. I hear if you pass the kaplan and have a good gpa that you automatically get in, but if you don't then they send it to another committee to be evaluated. I think it will be a couple of more weeks. Have you started getting the vaccinations yet? I did not want to until I knew for sure, but one of the shots is a series and I thought I needed to go ahead and start that one. Not sure?

The Kaplan is a major pain! I'm wondering as to what the committee looks at if you don't meet all the requirements. Do they look at the kaplan, science grade, or your gpa? Beth emailed me back yesterday and said the letters would be mailed 4 weeks after the deadline. I haven't started the vaccinations yet. I know a girl that just graduated from cumberland last year and she told me that it took her about a month to get done with all the stuff they required her to have done but she said she was constantly on the go doing things.

I am not sure honestly. One of my friends just got an acceptance letter. I have not checked the mail today, but I will later. Have you heard anything?

Oh wow. I wasn't expecting it this early but that gives me some relief. No I haven't got anything thing in the mail, but I will for sure keep checking. Did she meet all of the requirements? If you don't mind me asking.

Yes, she did.

I got my letter yesterday and they accepted me! Yay!!!
