Nursing Students TEAS

I'm taking the test in 2 weeks and really need help on the science portion! How hard is the the whole test its self? And any pointers on what to study for the dreaded science section??

I didn't think the test was that hard. Pretty straight with whats in the book/study guide. Good luck!

I bought a book with 5 practice exams in it, I notice a lot of anatomy questions such as "The esophagus is ________ to the stomach." and then you need to know the term to describe where it is located. Also know the periodic table and how to read it in terms of how each item is reactive. Know the different systems (the basics like what is in each one.) However, my school said the science was the portion they really do not look at because you will learn a lot of it in class. Hope this helps, good luck!

If you send me your email address I can send you a PDF of the McGraw Hill study guide. It has over 400 pages (not all science) but it seems very similar to the ATI study guide I purchased. Good luck! (oh, my TEAS test is June 23rd)

Thank you very much:) my email is [email protected] . I already have the ati book but i really want to be as prepared as can be! im hoping that the test will be alot easer then i think but i want to be prepared for the worse. The science is really killing me chemistry is by far not my strong suit and for the anatomy theres just so much possible things for them to what you to know! Im currently working through 250 note cards trying to memorize them and its alot!

I've taken the test twice and this Wednesday will be my third time taking it. I've done good in the reading and english, but science and math have been kind of hard. I have the ati book and have been studying. I really hope i pass it this time. There's a lot of earth/life science and Chemistry. Those are the subjects that dropped my score. :(

Good luck to you!!

[email protected] , i would really appreciate it! I just failed my fourth semester of RN, so starting over is pretty hard , GOOD luck on 23rd ! you can do it!!!

What book you studing ?

Im studing the ATI study guide but iv also study 2 others. Im taking the test on june 4th and still dont feel prepared:(

ahhhh... I'm so nervous. I just finished chemistry and AP2 so I figured I should take this month off school to prepare for the TEAS but I'm so scared that I can't decide yet on which day to take it. I will either take it on the 26th of june or the 3rd of July. I am studying from the ati book and biology for dummies (got them from the library). How's everybody feeling? How are you studying for the test?

Can anyone tell me how much or in dept you really need to study for the Teas or Hesi exam? I am trying to study for the Teas exam now and just ordered a study guide for the Hesi exam. I planned to study in between my semesters and during any breaks. The application deadline to sign up for next Fall semester is in Jan. This means I will have limited time, since I am taking summer classes and working full time as well. Now I am freaking out because I dont know if I will have enough time or when I do study, if its not all at once but could be several weeks apart, am I going to retain all the info. I either have to rush through studying and hope to do well or I will have to wait to apply for the Spring semester. Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated!
