Registed for Teas today...

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

Today I finished the Human Growth & Development CLEP. I am SO happy it is done! Then I registered for the TEAS. I figure might as well try and knock it out. The school Im applying for has conflicting info on their website. The lady said they changed the rule that you can take it every 30 days and highest score counts...and then the school site seems to be older version stating you can take it once a semester at least 30 days between. Figured I would play it safe and make sure and get it in during the summer just in case!! I will be in Ant. 2 so everything will be fresh. Hopefully I wont be taking on too much...lol. I know I will have just finished a test that week and wont have another for a week so I is a good time for me. Fingers crossed my sanity holds up... :)

I'll be registering for the HESI A2 tomorrow. I'm ready to get it over with! You're lucky to be able to take the test every 30 days if you don't do so well. We have to have 6 months in between our tests :/ Hopefully we'll both be able to ace them on the first try :) Good luck!

yes...my plan is to take it ONCE!! :woot: I hope so!! I cant believe how much chemistry Im losing in my brain already so I want this done!

Specializes in CVICU.

I will be registering for mine soon as well!! I want to wait until my summer classes are over and will be taking it hopefully before fall semester starts.. i'm going to get some AP books to help me with micro and physio because I have not taken those yet.

By any chance did you take A&P 2 this summer at FAU?

Just took mine today! Be sure to look through the TEAS forum here on allnurses if you need some ideas of what to study.

What did you all use to study for the TEAS/HESI A2? Thanks in advance.

I used the ATI study guide and the online practice tests. Got a 96% adjusted total. I did get 100% on the science section, but that was due to my extensive background in biology and chemistry. The info in that section of the ATI manual is not comprehensive enough. You need to know more information than is given.

Also used ATI study guide. I only studied chemistry from it since I hadn't had a chem class since 2006. I will get my result on tuesday, PSI location make you wait 48 hours to get results!

I took my A&P 2 at BC.

I used the ATI book and the McGraw Hill 5 teas tests. I found the ATI closer to the actual test and if you use the McGraw Hill books...it really makes you do much harder math and science. It makes the test easier.
