How to interpret TEAS scores?

Nursing Students TEAS

I don't know how to interpret my TEAS score. What is the school most likely looking for? My adjusted individual total score? My percentile rank? Ugh, it is so frustrating because I just want to know what they are going to base my acceptance on regarding the TEAS.

Does your school give you a 'minimum' composite score for acceptance? I'm pretty sure they are looking at your adjusted individual score. Out of the 2 universities that require TEAS in my area, one's lowest acceptable score is 58 and the other 64... both are awesome BSN programs.. so if your individual score is 80 or up, I think you will have a GREAT chance of getting in to wherever you apply.

Good luck... these HESI/TEAS/NET tests couldn't be more baffling!

I think it really just depends on what school you go to. I've heard about a million different answers from people. One person said they're score focuses more on the math and science section after they look at your overall score. I've heard some say their school requires a score of at least 80% and others say they're school only requires a score of 65%+. My school takes all the scores from everyone who has taken the TEAS for that upcoming program start date, averages them together and creates a cut-off score from that. However it's a small school and they only accept 30 people per start date and about 100+ apply each time.
