  1. I took the TEAS yesterday, so I'm crossing my fingers that I get in! We find out within the next few weeks:

    Program Type: ADN
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 88.0%
    ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Advanced
    Mean - National: 64.3%
    Mean - Program: 64.9%
    Percentile Rank - National - 98
    Percentile Rank - Program - 98
    Reading Adjusted Individual Score 92.9%
    Mathematics A.I.S. 93.3%
    Science A.I.S. 75.0%
English and Language Usage A.I.S. 96.7%
  2. Program Type: ADN
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 82%
    ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Advanced
    Mean - National: 64.3%
    Mean - Program: 64.9%
    Percentile Rank - National - 91%
    Percentile Rank - Program - 93%
    Reading Adjusted Individual Score 92.9%
    Mathematics A.I.S. 83.3%
    Science A.I.S. 77.1%
English and Language Usage A.I.S. 73.3%

If I don't get into my program this Fall I will most likely take this again. I only studied the day before, and I didn't even bother with the English/Language Usage part. Got to the test and realized that I do not know how to properly use a semicolon LOL
  3. I received the results from my second attempt yesterday.

    Program type - PN
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 90.7%
    ATI Academic
    Preparedness Level: Exemplary
    Mean - National: 64.3%
    Mean - Program: 56.0%
    Percentile Rank - National: 99
    Percentile Rank - Program: 99
    Reading - 100%
    Math - 96.7%
    Science - 77.1%
    English - 90%

I went from 84.7 to 90.7 and from "advanced" to "exemplary." I'm pretty happy!

  4. Just finished the test 45 minutes ago, so here are some more results to throw in the pool:

    Program Type: ADN
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 89.3%
    ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Advanced
    Mean - National: 64.3%
    Mean - Program: 64.9%
    Percentile Rank - National - 98%
    Percentile Rank - Program - 99%
    Reading Adjusted Individual Score 97.6%
    Mathematics A.I.S. 90%
    Science A.I.S. 85.4%
English and Language Usage A.I.S. 90%

Sad to be thought of as less than exemplary, but they just haven't gotten to know me ;-)

  5. Any suggestions on preperation?  I take it in 2 months.
  6. There are a couple of things you can do to increase your chances of success. One is to absolutely get the TEAS V manual and do at least two online practice exams to get used to the format. If the time factor freaks you out do NOT compulsively watch the clock; the test is more important than the clock. Also, there are usually two answer choices that are easily eliminated; if you're stuck, dispense with those to give energy to one of the more logical choices. Just my $.02 worth ;-)

  7. Program Type: ADN
    # of Questions: 150
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 79.3%
    ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Advanced
    Mean - National: 64.3%
    Mean - Program: 64.9%
    Percentile Rank - National: 87
    Percentile Rank - Program: 88
  8. I second the suggestion of buying the study guide and taking the 2 online practice exams. The study guide also contains an addition 2 (paper) practice exams. If you do well on the practice tests, you should do well on the exam. Others have stated that the practice tests actually over-prepare you, and I agree.

I took my first practice exam with no studying or preparation of any kind. With minimal review, I boosted my initial practice score by 10 percentage points, then scored another 5 percentage points higher on the actual exam.

The exam is really not that difficult, and a little preparation goes a long way.

    Good luck!
