2nd time teas test takers

I met my nursing school's passing score the second time I took the TEAS V! I was just more aware of the time, so I was able to answer all the questions on each section (unlike the first time where I had to guess the last few seconds). It would also be helpful if you studied the ATI maual in depth since alot of the questions on the actual test are similar to the sample questions in the book. Good luck to you!

Thank you for taking your time and responding. I purchased the ATI Study Manual and I am hoping that I am able to pass. I didn't do too bad on my first time but the reading and science portions killed me. I only have one more chance to take it so I am very scared that I will screw this up again.

I am currently studying to take the TEAS next month. I am using the McGraw-Hills book to study for it I was thinking should I also purchase the ATI Testing Manual as well?

That's what I used the first time to study. It did help me with math and English, but not with the reading, so I failed. Now I did buy the ATI study manual and it seems more like the actual exam. I would definitely buy it if I were you.

I scored Proficient Level on 1st try and then 7 days later at Advance Level. I went up on every section and didn't study except for about an hour the night before just to glance over what I missed the first time. Also, I just used the ATI study manual.

Taking the TEAS for the second time passed everything but math and missed it by 3 points ugh! Hopefully I will pass this time.

Happy New Year!

I had to take the TEAS test V 3 times in order to pass the math section, when it comes to math I get nerved up and with the pressure of the clocking ticking makes it even worse for me. I wanted to let everyone know that with hard work and never give up on yourself you can do it! I passed with a score I didnt even expect to get Amazing, Thank you Jesus!

Hi First off dont give up! I used the ATI study book and YouTube has tons of info check out Keshwani Prep. He really helped me with the math section. I passed everything but math twice the third time I just focused on the math portion and PASSED! You can do it :)

Thanks so much for posting this. I am awaiting my results that I should get today. I know in my heart tho the math I probably didn't pass. Trying to remain positive but in the event I want able to pass math I will have to retake the exam next week. I will definitely be checking out that keshwani prep. I have the SAME exact problem as you. The time is what freaks me out in the math and I tend to give up when say a word problem confuses me. All I can think about is OMG I'm running out of time!!! Your post definitely motivates me. Thank u.
