Way to CRNA
- 0Feb 4 by deepu245Hi guys,
I am Deepthi, I am an international student and Presently I am in US. I have a big dream to become a CRNA and for that I am working for two years. I have my valid RN license and also I have critical care experience from my country not from the US. Also I am thinking to take CCRN examination now, can any one help me in this like how to prepare and all. One more thing is that I had seen some sources providing online certification for ACLS, PALS and BLS, my question is that does the universities approve online certififications.? please help me in this....

If you are currently in the U.S. and working at a hospital, check with your unit to get ACLS/PALS/BLS certified. If you're actively working as a RN, you should already have your BLS, it is a requirement. ACLS/PALS - check with your Nurse Educator (you can usually get these certifications paid for by your hospital). I would recommend becoming a AACN member (not only will you get the benefits of being a member, you will pay less to take the CCRN Exam and will find numerous study materials on the website). I would not do online certifications...some are scams. Go through your place of employment! Good luck!
P.S. Follow/shadow a CRNA first...then determine if that is the right path for you!

Also please tell me about the CCRN examination like how it will be and is it very hard..??
