So in my understanding, does SAMUEL MERRITT take a look at "NURSING ONLY gpa"? Or does this "NURSING ONLY gpa" consist of "THE LAST 60 RECENT UNITS" taken as an undergrad?
I went straight to the Samuel Merritt website and found this:
How is my application file reviewed by the CRNA admission counselor?
The CRNA admission counselor will review files to see which files meet the minimum admission requirements:
Most recent 60 semester/90 quarter unit GPA = 3.0 or higher
Overall GPA (all colleges/universities attended) = 3.0 or higher
All science GPA
Minimum combined GRE scores = 900 or higher
All prerequisites accounted for
3 letters or recommendation accounted for
ACLS/PALS/CA RN accounted for
Account for all other admission documentation that is require
... so as far as I can see, they first base your admission on the MOST 60 UNITS then to OVERALL GPA then to ALL SCIENCE GPA. So then when I go around forums why do I see people post "BSN gpa" when asked about their admission status? Is "BSN gpa" equivalent to THE MOST RECENT 60 UNITS? Please, anyone, help me out on this because I'll freak if Samuel Merritt will really look at your NURSING ONLY gpa as well
. And by NURSING ONLY gpa, I'm talking about courses with the Nursing prefix.
