Organic, Inorganic, Biochem combo

Hey everybody,

I am finishing my prereqs so I can apply to schools come September. I live in southern California. I am looking for an online combo class for Organic, Inorganic, and biochem. I heard of a couple but can't find info on them or the site isn't working. USC requires 1 semester of all 3 without lab, and they can be combined. The other 3 schools that would allow me to stay in this area (Kaiser CSUF, Loma Linda, Texas Wesleyan) don't even have these as a requirement, so if I can find this all together in 1 class online I would be set. Any input greatly appreciated!

From what I've gathered, because I was looking up the same information, the combo class won't be the greatest option because it isn't the highest level of any of the 3. You may want to contact schools that you will be applying to so that you won't be taking classes that don't count. Unfortunately, I have to take Chem I & II then Organic Chemistry.

I know this is a later reply, but since I am also looking for this, I thought I would share the info I have found. First of all, there is a combo class of inorganic/organic/biochem that is offered by Moorpark College and it is accepted by USC. So far, I have not found an online version. UC Berkeley Extension offers online classes, but again, not in combination.

Shasta College has a combo gen/organic/biochem course online. It is CHEM 26. USC stated in an email to me that they will accept this course to satisfy the entire chem requirement. The only problem is Shasta will not be offering the course again until next spring. You can do that then and get it done in time for USC and just have it pending at the time of interview, but if they do not offer the course for some reason you may have an issue. Weber University also offers a similar course that has labs, but I have not confirmed the syllabus with USC yet. Shasta is cheap too, if you are in California that is. Hope this helps.
