Northeastern University CRNA at San Antonio, TX

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey guys!

I'm new to allnurses! I'm a new grad (may graduate) of a BSN program and took my first job as a nurse resident at my local VA. I'm very apprehensive about this because I want to be in the ICU as soon as possible and the acuity at this hospital is not even comparable to the private sector. Anyways, the point of this thread is I want to know if anyone has any input on Northeastern's CRNA program at San Antonio, TX. If I am with the VA for a year, they will pay for me to go to this program but 12 months are in San Antonio and 24 months (clinicals) are in Memphis, TN. I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this program to see what it is like. I am very confused about where I want my nursing career to go and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jobethwalker! I am from San Antonio, I've been an RN for 2 years now and have been working really hard towards becoming a CRNA! I am finally able to apply! I noticed this program in San Antonio and was wondering about it. I really don't know more about it than you. I was wondering if you have any new information?!?!?
