chances of admission?

I have 1.5 years in a level one PICU and 1 year and counting in a level 1 Cardiovascular Recovery unit. My undergraduate GPA is a 3.54, BSN 3.96, Science 3.5 and a 299 on my GRE. I have shadowed CRNA's and have my CCRN and am active on my unit (precepting, charge, UBC chair).

I know my GRE isn't >300 but its DANG close... those who have been accepted, what are my chances on getting accepted? would you recommend I retake it?

Everything looks fine to me, I think you have a chance, but the chance will definitely be increased if you apply to programs that have more students obviously :)

I think most schools want at least a 297 on the GRE so you may be fine. Taking the GRE sucks so I'd hate for you to have to go through that again.

I would say apply to the ones you really want, and have a couple of backup options (that accept 30+ students if possible) as well.

Just apply!! Everything looks great. I hate that test , took it 3 times ... smh still didnt break 300 and had multiple interviews. Also got accepted for fall start . GL!

Thanks for the boast of confidence! My top choice is to start in January and applications are due May 30! I am rescheduled to take my test in April! I was just planning to apply and if I get a better score email them and let them know! Did the schools you applied to recommend >300 on your GRE?

Yes some of them recommended >300 and I got interviews at SOME of them despite my lower score. But it does hinder you when you are compared to others if you both interview well. .. Honestly though all your other stats are likely to be very competitive with others and they carry much more weight than a GRE
