I just got an email that I have an interview next week for the pediatric np program at stony brook which starts this summer. Has anyone had an interview yet??? what did they ask? Does everyone who applied get an interview? ANYYYY information you can give me is very helpful!!! Thanks

I also got an email inviting me to a group interview for the adult NP program and I also have no idea what to expect. Please can someone share if they have had similar experience. Thanks!

Wow they are doing interviews now? A lot has changed since I was accepted into the ANP program 3 yrs ago. Competition must be stiff. Good luck in the interviews.

I had an interview late January for the Mental Health NP program. I have not heard back yet. They started doing interviews because they have had an overwhelming amount of applicants. During my interview the Director of the program mentioned there were 100 applicants for 40 seats. I am anxious to hear if I made the cut. Orientation is in May for Summer 2014 so I hope I hear back soon!

I also had a group interview for the PNP program, just got my acceptance on Friday with a few co-workers from work for the summer program. Some are still waiting too, so don't worry. Good luck!

I was accepted! I start the PMHNP program this May! If anyone else is doing the distance program let me know... good to have a buddy in the program. Good luck all!!

Hi, I was also accepted to Stony Brook for this summer, for the perinatal/WHNP program, and will be attending orientation on April 30! Coming down from the Poughkeepsie area.

Hi!! I know this post is 2 years old, but I wanted to know, how is the program? I just applied for next summer. Its really one of the only programs that works for me, so I am hoping I get in!!!
