U.S.A. South Carolina

I am looking to relocate to the Greenville area and I am wondering what the going rate is for new grads? Also does anyone know anything about hospitals in greenville...which hospitals are good for labor and delivery, or there are magnet hospitals? I am just trying to get an idea of what it would be like to work as an RN in Greenville.

Thanks

I just sent you an IM. I live in the Greenville area. What area will you becoming from. I would like to get a job at Greenville in peds. There are several hospitals in Greenville and one in Anderson which is is this araes. Greenville Hospital system is the largest, the other is ST. Francis which I have heard a lot of nice things about.

Specializes in Neonatal ICU (Cardiothoracic).

Spartanburg Regional has a good L&D, new grads start at around $19/hr days, add in $2.55 night diff and $5 weekend diff.

I currently live in Greenville, SC. I graduated in May, I have yet to find a job here. I don't know why either. I know I am a new grad, but geez! It seems to be a "who you know place". I don't know anyone currently in any of the hospitals, so I have yet to get my foot in the door at any of the local hospitals despite the fact I have applied for over 50 jobs at these facilities. I have currenlty started applying out of state.
