by grace13 Apr 18, '07I am looking to relocate to the Greenville area and I am wondering what the going rate is for new grads? Also does anyone know anything about hospitals in greenville...which hospitals are good for labor and delivery, or there are magnet hospitals? I am just trying to get an idea of what it would be like to work as an RN in Greenville.
Thanks

- Nov 24, '09 by bummerQuote from SteveRN21I currently live in Greenville, SC. I graduated in May, I have yet to find a job here. I don't know why either. I know I am a new grad, but geez! It seems to be a "who you know place". I don't know anyone currently in any of the hospitals, so I have yet to get my foot in the door at any of the local hospitals despite the fact I have applied for over 50 jobs at these facilities. I have currenlty started applying out of state.Spartanburg Regional has a good L&D, new grads start at around $19/hr days, add in $2.55 night diff and $5 weekend diff.
