I like the book The Handbook of School Nursing. I also found a great free resource which was referred to me by "The Internet for School Nurses" website at http://www.ohsu.edu/library/ref/schoolnurse

That resource, which I'm really finding useful, is a free downloadable emergency manual for school nurses. It tells about all the most commonly encountered first aid situations, how to assess them, triage, and disposition. It's at: http://www.luhs.org/depts/emsc/schl_man.htm

Another book I find useful at times is: School Nursing: A Comprehensive Text, by Selekman. When you look up a condition there, it seems to be covered pretty comprehensively.
