Specialties Research

I have been looking at different master's programs; some offer research and even fewer offer clinical trials. I am specifically interested in clinical trials. Does anyone have suggestions regarding which type of program? Why?

Thanks

Hmmmm. In many respects, you will be over-credentialed with a MSN in industry-sponsored work, unless you work for a pharmaceutical company.

Research, in one form or another, should be part of your Masters program, but I'm not sure what you're looking for, outside of what you will do for your thesis...?

I have seen research classes at the BSN and the MSN level and both do not really do a good job at preparing anyone for being in research. I am interested as well in conducting clinical research. I am looking at the BSN to PhD in nursing programs such as UAB and Emory from where I have looked so far.

Arizona State University has a Master's program in Clinical Research Administration that can be done mostly online. I think there are times when you may need to travel to the campus, but they are not very often.

As mentioned above, you would be over-credentialed as an entry-level coordinator with an MS. It might be better to see if your community college has a clinical research certificate program.
