Good Morning
The Public Health Nurse (PHN) certification is only offered through certain BSN programs. I had completed my BSN through Walden University online and it does not include a PHN certification. You have to check with your BSN program prior to enrolling if you wish to complete the BSN with a PHN. I have a MHA now and am trying to complete the requirements I am missing through this program. It was not a priority at the time to have a PHN, but now I am trying to obtain the certification for continued growth.
I would like to ask everyone for advice. I have completed my BSN (which did not include a PHN), in addition, I have completed my Master of Healthcare Administration. I would like to move forward to obtain my PHN but unsure where to start to see what I still need to receive certification. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
