Help! I am taking Abnormal Psychology and need to interview a Psychiatric Nurse :uhoh3:; any ideas how I can find one that would be willing to answer these questions........

  • Briefly describe your professional qualifications (education, training, experience, license)
  • Briefly describe the types of clients you see
  • Briefly describe your model of normal and abnormal behavior
  • Briefly describe your therapeutic point of view
  • Briefly describe the most positive aspect of your work
  • Briefly describe the most difficult aspect of your work

I need to include the professional's full name, professional title, business address and telephone # as the professor requires this information to be included in the report :coollook:. If you have any suggestions how I may find someone (preferably in Michigan) to interview - I would appreciate your help! Thanks much!

PM me.

Well--I am in upstate NY--Rochester and would be happy to talk to you over the phone if you don't find someone local. You could call one of the local psych units and see if any of the nurses is willing to let you meet with her/him. Let me know if you need me to help--I'd be happy to-- been a nurse for 5 and 1/2 years and a psych nurse for about 2 and half years or so. I have worked inpatient and now in the Psych ER. We see anyone ages 4 and up including geris and get straight CD patients and MICA patients as well as any psych Dx..
