I don't work yet, but I have two children and am married. My husband works. It's so tight financially. Apply for grants and loans. That's all the advice I have. I'm currently finishing up my pre-reqs to hopefully start a program in the fall of 2015.

Make sure you fill out your FAFSA and look for various forms of financial aid like grants, scholarships, and even look for tuition fee waivers. You may have to appeal the results because they may look at last year's tax records and not what you're actually making now. Certainly you're going to have to trim any and all fat from your budget while you're in school and you may have to defer some stuff. None of this is going to be easy and I hope you have some savings as well to help you get through the first year, if not longer, while in school. You may also want to look into returning to work full-time during your semester breaks to try to help lower whatever amount of student aid you'll need throughout the rest of the year. I was very, very lucky to be able to get a fee waiver, though I wasn't blessed with much else in the way of student financial aid. I was able to escape school basically debt-free. I already have a Bachelor's Degree so that automatically knocks me out of many "normal" undergrad financial aid options for financial aid.

Student loans, and no extras. No cable, no going out to dinner and no vacations. We just keep our eye on the prize, lol.
