What are some tips for Microbiology?

I just finished making A's in A&P1 and 2 over the summer. I am taking Microbiology at my nursing school in the fall. What were things you did that made Microbiology easier?

Just study as much as possible. I'm taking it now & kids in my class still don't get that...I was the only A on the last exam. What I do, is seriously study every single night before bed. If I have some downtime during the day, I'll study too, but I only do it at home with no distractions. Our tests have been tough but I've managed As on all of them so far

Study your concepts. I know that I've had a tough micro teacher who made sure that we understood why this was happening instead of just knowing what's happening. Flash cards with diagrams help a lot. I also used the website that was listed in my book. It also helped that my teacher wrote the book lol.
