    My situation is this,

    I am in the military and want to cross train from an electrician to a commissioned nurse. I am just now beginning to set up my pre requisites for nursing but in the mean time would like to know if there are any certifications, classes or anything that could possibly help me in the interview/review process or just being a great nurse in the mean time. So far I have been studying for chemistry to get a head start. Any good books or advice would be GREAT!

    They normally ask on applications if you have any certifications already. Things like CNA, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomist, etc.

    Some states you can just take the test for these to get certified, others you must take some type of training class before you can even attempt.
