Waubonsee A&P - Labs?

I was wondering if any past or present Waubonsee CC students could fill me in on what labs are like for Anatomy & Physiology. The course description says they incorporate human cadavers, but I noticed the lab book listed for the course is the cat version. I was wondering if the labs actually used animals as well as human cadavers. Having worked at a humane society for four years, the thought of using cats in labs makes me uncomfortable. But I will do it if it's required...just need to mentally prepare myself!

Oops! Meant to post this in the Illinois nurses forum. But if anyone else wants to share their experiences, please do. I am really struggling with the idea of disecting a cat.
